My New Go to Baby Shower Gift — Tiny Twinkle

My best friend is about to have a baby and I threw her baby shower this past weekend. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in that baby world and whoa, how things have changed! I was amazed at all the new things that parents have to make things easier — or at least give the impression of making it easier.

I was tempted, but I decided to stay classic and go with what I remember being the most important thing: the swaddle blankets. A good blanket can make all of the difference. My kids still love to be wrapped up tight in a comfy blanket.

Of course there were so many options — different materials, sizes, patterns. My head was spinning. But then I came across something different that really caught my eye — Kaffle Blankets from Tiny Twinkle.

Kaffle? What in the world was that? And then I read more. Kaffle is a traditional Korean, argyle-jacquard weave that is 50% cotton and 50% rayon.

What does that mean? These blankets are so soft and silky it’s crazy. It made the muslin blankets feel a little like sandpaper. Okay I’m exaggerating, but the difference was noticeable.

I bought two packs — only one made it to my friend because my kids grabbed them. They used them as capes and small blankets on the couch. Fine with me, the patterns were cute.

It looks like the company has bibs and other products too. Check it out — you’ll either be giving the best gift at a baby shower or feel nostalgic enough to buy some!
